Switch with a lever without a front panel / General
Cam switches S6, 10, 16, 25, 32, 40, 63, 100, 160J are current switches ranging from 6 to 160 A, divided into five dimensional sizes:
I. Dimensional size - switches S6,10J - outline dimensions of the switching part 34x33x(10.5)mm
II. Dimensional size - switches S16,25J - outline dimensions of the switching part 43x43x(13.5)mm
III. Dimensional size - switches S32,40J - outline dimensions of the switching part 56x53x(16)mm
IV. Dimensional size - switch S63J - outline dimensions of the switching part 66x66x(18.5)mm
V. Dimensional size - switches S100,160J - outline dimensions of the switching part 77x84x(21)mm (the value in parentheses indicates the height of one switching chamber)
S..J series switches are characterized by:
- Compliance with STN EN 60 947-3 (EN 60 947-3, IEC 60 947-3, ČSN EN 60 947-3), STN EN 60 204-1, VDE 0660
- Terminals and connections are protected against touch with IP20 degree of protection, IP40 is achieved from the front of the device
- IP65 protection is achieved in the "G" design with sealing of the shaft and fastening screws and in the S...JP version
- Versions in aluminum enclosures S...JA and S...JI have IP54 protection
- Switches of sizes I to IV have access to terminals at an angle of 45° or 30° and improved terminal marking legibility
- Switching angles of 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90° (preferred angle is 60° for 6 switching positions and 30° for 12 switching positions)
- Compact dimensions and a unified design with unification of individual attachments
- Mechanical design variability of switches
- A wide range of electrical connections for switches according to an overview of electrical diagrams, uniform for the entire current range, the possibility of special electrical diagrams (according to customer requirements)
- The maximum number of switching chambers is 12 (24 contacts); a larger number of chambers should be agreed upon with the manufacturer
- Compliance with requirements T 32 and ambient temperatures from -30°C to +55°C
Application
- Performance switches for switching motors in AC3, AC23
- Switches in auxiliary and measuring circuits
- For switching resistive loads and in electric furnaces
- Step switches (transformer taps, switches)
- Switches with a return position for testing purposes and single-phase motors
- Reversing switches, Y switches, pole switching (speeds) of multi-speed motors
